A Walk Along the Wall

Starting at The Sill, we climb up to Steel Rig and then east along the wall, past The Gap, Hotbanks, and then on to Housesteads. We walk as far as Kings Wicket, before turning back and walking west along the low moors to the north of the wall. This lower path, less traversed by tourists, offers a tranquil journey back along the wall, from which vantage point we can look back at the Whin Sill cliffs we have just walked along!
