His book Concussed: Sports Uncomfortable Truth , won the UK Sports Book of the Year award for outstanding sports writing and was shortlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year. Concussed expands Sam's research on rugby into football and NFL, and poses difficult questions about what sporting organisations need to change to keep their players safe.
