About the maker:
Steve Barlow is a cabinet maker with over 45 years experience, having been employed the majority of that time by a long established family firm in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. Over the years he has worked on a wide range of both domestic and commercial projects, been responsible for workshop management and overseen many apprentices. After taking early retirement, he took the decision to pursue his desire to pass on his experience and skills to the amateur leisure woodworker through personal tuition, with the aim of giving instruction primarily in the use of hand tools and traditional woodworking techniques.
