Join us at the JobServe Community Stadium - home of Colchester United - for our first ever Cabaret Night , an evening of awards, entertainment, food, drink, and dance in celebration of PQA Colchester's tenth anniversary! As well as a buffet meal, photo booth, and disco, there will be a variety of performances from our current members that celebrate the confidence that our members have found through their weekly PQA sessions. Green, Blue, and Redgroup students will showcase numbers that they are learning with our long-time Musical Theatre tutor, Katy, while our three colour group Monologue Slam champs will also perform their winning pieces. There might even be a surprise...or two! Tickets include a welcome drink and buffet meal. Please let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements in advance. Family members, friends, and former students are all welcome! There is no dress code for the cabaret night and encourage everyone to take inspiration from our motto - be yourself, be amazing! Just as it is important for an actor to feel relaxed before they take to the stage, it is important that everybody who will be joining to celebrate ten years of PQA feels relaxed in what they are wearing, so please dress to feel your best, because we all know that the more comfortable we feel, the more likely we are to have a great time. We just ask that current PQA members who wish to wear heels to the Cabaret Night should bring a change of shoes to perform in, and that modesty shorts are worn under dresses. Whatever your taste in style, the most important thing when choosing your outfit is, of course, comfort and confidence.
