SummerVines, the annual festival celebrating South Australia’s coastal wine region, returns to McLaren Vale from Friday 17 to Monday 27 January 2025.

Located in the beautiful surroundings of the Gulf Of St Vincent, the festival unites wine and local cuisine in a relaxed, beachside environment together with live entertainment.

Guests can look forward to wine and food pairings, wine tastings, vineyard tours, open days and masterclasses, plus a number of social gatherings, such as sunset sessions, picnics and live music, all complemented by matched food and drink.

Hands-on experiences are designed to deepen visitors' understanding of wine, whether they're newbies or experts. Guests will be able to learn about environmental sustainability and the region's complex terroir (a beautiful combination of rolling green vineyards and crystal-clear waters).

Cycling fans (and anyone curious) can also experience the 25th Santos Tour Down Under as it stops by with the women’s stage 2 race on Saturday 18 January and the men’s stage 5 race on Saturday 25 January.

Located just 40 minutes from Adelaide, McLaren Vale is one of the most geologically complex wine regions in the world. Earlier this year we wrote about how it boasts 'stunning ocean views, rolling hillsides and a gorgeous Mediterranean climate, as well as an incredible range of wines to try.’ Check out our guide to the region.
