The Odeon Llanelli opened in October 2012, as the chief attraction of the town's new Eastgate development. The five-screen cinema has wheelchair spaces in each auditorium and screen 1 is wired for Dolby 'imm-sound' technology. The Eastgate development has a Nando's, and a family-friendly Hungry Horse pub/restaurant, the New Stepney. There's free parking outside, Llanelli bus station is next door on Stepney Place, and Llanelli railway station is about 20 minutes away on foot.
