Since the 1970s, Loon Fung has been a popular focal point for Glasgow’s Chinese community, city centre shoppers and tourists. A post-covid makeover has the place (tardis-like inside from a small frontage) looking resplendent in its classic reds and golds. Food is a traditional Cantonese offering, including an extensive dim sum selection, hot pots, noodles, barbecue roast meats, and excellent seafood, from scallops and sea bass to soft-shell crabs. As well as the main dining area, there are private rooms (with karaoke machines) that can be booked for dining, and maybe a sing-along.
