Shopping centres aren’t renowned for quality dining but inside Glasgow’s St Enoch Centre is a curryhouse with some serious spicy skills. Namaste by Delhi Darbar has an interior that brings a bit of flamboyance to the centre (countless wicker lightshades, plenty foliage) and it also brings some vibrancy to North Indian dishes that are familiar to many in the city. The respected Great Taste Awards pepper the menu with five dishes having one star, including their fluffy veg pakora and lamb bhuna, while their chicken butter masala deservedly picked up two stars. They also have a three-star award winner in their tea: Grandad’s masala chai.
