Paesano Pizza

At the vanguard of the pizza revolution in Glasgow, Paesano takes pizzas seriously, from following traditional Neapolitan dough processes to cooking in wood-fired ovens from Naples. A compact, near-constant menu offers ten toppings, about half veggie, with added specials, plus the option to switch up standard fior di latte mozzarella to mozzarella di bufala. This second venue in town (original in the Merchant City) released the attractive former bank at Kelvinbridge from the clutches of Costa. It’s a classy setting, open and airy, Italian marble catching the eye; as do the pizzaioli flinging around their delicious take on Neapolitan pizzas. In Spring 2024, the Di Maggios Group bought out Paesano (and sister Sugo), with plans to expand.
