Established in 1456, The Golf Tavern on the edge of Bruntsfield Links is one of Scotland’s oldest eating and drinking spots, still offering hearty pub grub fit for a clubhouse. You can golf for real on the pitch’n'putt course outside (just like in 1717), but a 21st-century addition is big screens inside showing major football fixtures, rugby, darts, the Superbowl, and (of course) the Masters and the Open.
