12:07 - A Monster Calls Story
Thirteen-year-old Conor O'Malley has a recurring nightmare. But the monster that arrives at his window one night is not the one from his dreams. It's ancient, wild, and born from the old yew tree in the churchyard. It has come to tell Conor three stories, after which Conor must tell the scariest story of all: his own truth.

Inspired by the piercing novel by Patrick Ness and an original idea by Siobhan Dowd, the talented students of Chesterton Youth Theatre have devised their own powerful and imaginative take on this vital, haunting story. Blending realism and fantasy, this production explores the raw emotional turmoil of a boy grappling with unimaginable loss and the courage it takes to face one's deepest fears.

Join us for a gripping, moving, and visually stunning journey into grief, truth, and the wild creatures stories become when they are finally set free.

Trigger Warnings: This production explores the main themes of terminal illness (cancer), the death of a parent, grief, and bullying. It also contains scenes of moderate violence and emotional intensity (including shouting and destruction of property).
