Stirling is the host of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships Time Trials from 9-11 August. For visitors and locals to the area there will be fan zones created from which you will be able to enjoy the event. You can cycle to each of the fan zones on the days of the competitions before each event starts as long as you’re off the route of the time trials. Spectators at the Blair Drummond Smiddy will follow the race on jumbo screens while enjoying local food and drink, a mix of outside and indoor seating and even a flavoured milk dispenser from the local dairy herd. If the action gets too much, historic Doune with its movie star castle and the world famous Deanston Distillery are a short walk/cycle away.
