An eclectic mix of music from Hampshire based chamber choir TakeNOTE and the unique sound of The Hyde Pipers performing on Northumbrian Smallpipes.

We’re delighted to be performing at the Romsey Festival this year– a free lunchtime concert at Romsey Abbey. We’ll sing half a dozen short pieces from our summer repertoire: a ‘mad song’ from the 17th century, folksongs from Deven and Derbyshire, a classic from the American Songbook, some Elizabethan frolicking and a bear’s picnic. We hope that doesn’t give too much away and that you’ll come along to be ‘sure of a big surprise’. The Hyde Pipers will be there with some Northumbrian tunes played on the smallpipes.
