A Play, A Pie and A Pint: Cry/Laugh

Written by Nay Dhanak
Directed by Brian Logan
An epic absurdist comedy where a Town Crier and a Court Jester walk into the future, a King falls, and a Dragon says no to a strange business pitch.
Why do we tell stories? How do we build ourselves a future? What, or who, is in the way?
A medieval Town Crier and a Court Jester have lost their jobs – by accidentally going to the future and leaving a rather important individual behind.
They want to teach you how to tell a joke – although they should be creating a sustainable, ethical, modern business pitch. Either way, they must stop crying, stop laughing, and figure out how we got here.
Cry/Laugh is a wacky and charming journey through time that delves into storytelling and traditions. The rest is… stuffing.
