Create a Unique appliquéd abstract artwork. Using felt Shapes and embroidery thread create a contemporary Textured textile piece to take home. Plan out your Design with guidance and examples from tutor Bonita, cut your abstract shapes from felt, hand sew them to a felt or cotton Backing to form your textile wall art and embellish with embroidery. You’ll learn embroidery stitches through demonstration and individual guidance. Be inspired by Bonita’s design ideas or create your very own, and take-home Embroidery stitch sheets to continue your applique journey long after the Workshop! All Materials are provided and no experience is necessary - this really is a course For complete beginners! Participants must be aged 14+. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times. This One-day workshop will start at 10:30am and finish at 4:30pm, with a short break for lunch. Our café will be open or you are welcome to bring your own Refreshments.
