1 day - "This intensive one day course is designed for those with some scriptwriting experience that are looking to push their work to a professional level. Run by locally based script editor Lucy V Hay, this session will draw on the importance of scriptwriting as the starting point for most dramatic films. You will be introduced to the basic elements and key concepts to be expected from a professional screenplay. Looking at common vocabulary used when developing screenplays, script analysis and usual exercises based on your own story ideas. Any writers who already have treatments or script written would be encouraged to bring these along to the session.
