Wednesday 4th June 2025 - with Abbey Row Baroque Baroque sonatas for 2, 3, 4 or 5 players A group of friends who meet to play music together for their own enjoyment. And they hope you will enjoy their playing too! They will be playing a varied programme of Baroque sonatas by composers such as the Bach family, Telemann, Corelli, Albinoni and Vivaldi in various combinations this afternoon. The music was often composed for amateur musicians and can be played on a variety of instruments which suits them very well. Members of Abbey Row Baroque are: John Hughes, pianist and organist at Malmesbury Abbey Paul Mason, currently studying for a Masters in Jazz saxophone and flute at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
