An Afternoon Music Recital An Afternoon Music Recital is a series of performances by Laraine Levin MusB (Hons) MA HRM Assoc. CIPD and her music students who play piano, flute and recorder and are between the ages of 7 and adults, ranging in ability level from beginner to professional. This concert will certainly be a delight to experience, varied and accessible to listen to. It includes performances from Laraine herself and a number of her students of all ages, and at all stages of learning from beginner to advanced. Performances will cover everything from Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Saint-Sans, Mozart, Chopin, Liszt to pop! About : Laraine Levin is a local music teacher who started playing the piano at the age of 5 and the flute at age 7. Achieving grade 8 flute at the age of 13 and grade 8 piano at the age of 17 she was principal flautist in the Reading Youth Orchestra, Berkshire Youth Wind Orchestra and Berkshire Youth Orchestra, a Berkshire county music scholar and won multiple competitions and awards before going on to achieve a honours degree in Music from Manchester University having studied with Richard Davies, principal flautist of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. She has been teaching flute and piano for over 30 years, ten of which were in the USA. Laraine Levin is a local music teacher who started playing the piano at the age of 5 and the flute at age 7. She subsequently went on to earn a Masters Degree in London and Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Personal Development.
