With over 100 million streams and 10+ million monthly listeners in 2024, Alborosie is a leading international reggae artist. Two years after Destiny, he returns with new music and continues a global touring career of over 1,000 shows.

Born Alberto D’Ascola in Sicily, he moved to Jamaica over 20 years ago and fully embraced reggae culture. Active since 1993, he blends roots, dancehall, dub, and raggamuffin into a distinctive sound.

His catalogue includes the acclaimed Soul Pirate, featuring classics like “Kingston Town” and “Herbalist,” and collaborations with artists such as Buju Banton, Kabaka Pyramid, and The Wailing Souls.

Winner of a MOBO Award for Best Reggae Act, he is also known for socially conscious projects like Shadows After Dark (2020).

On stage with The Shengen Clan, Alborosie delivers powerful, genre-spanning live shows combining new material and fan favourites. Recent releases include Destiny (2023) and Dub Pirate (2024).
