Funhouse Comedy brings an outstanding day of comedy to Courtyard at the Abbey Theatre, Nuneaton on Sunday July 6th with its Edinburgh Festival Preview All-Dayer. Show will take place on outdoor stage but will be indoors if there is bad weather. Following the success of the first series on BBC Radio 4 of Its a Fair Cop in 2014, it is now in its eighth series. A police sergeant, he brings a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his eighteen years on the beat, where a keen sense of humour has been the key to his success and survival! His engaging style enables him to get serious points across whilst still making the audience laugh until they ache. 4.40pm Samantha Day Leicester Comedy Festival Silver Stand Up Award - Winner (2025) Samantha is the sassy, stand-up mum of six Millennials/Gen Zers. Her comedy career kicked off about six years ago, after three decades as an accountant and single mum. Now she's been freed from the city, she's really hit her stride, as a truly original act who's progressing fast on the circuit. 6.00pm Ian Stone Will Make It Better Feel like life is getting you down? Regarded by many in the know as one of the best circuit acts in the country, he has toured internationally and had highly acclaimed shows at the Edinburgh Festival.
