Annie Jr - LATE CAST

The depression-era New York and the “Hard-Knock Life” of an orphanage may seem like a dreary setting, but not for a spunky young girl who never stops believing that “The sun will come out tomorrow!” Annie Jr. tells the tale of Annie, an orphan determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage run by the embittered Miss Hannigan.
The story unfolds at the orphanage where Annie's parents have left her with only half of a heart- shaped locket and a promise that they would return some day. Annie decides to escape the cruel antics of Miss Hannigan, and runs away in search of her parents. She discovers a big world, full of loneliness, and a mutt who she takes as her companion and eventually names Sandy. Feeling heartbroken and hopeless, Annie is soon taken back to the orphanage.
Luckily, Annie is in the right place-at the right time! When Daddy Warbuck's secretary, Grace, comes to the orphanage to find a child to share Christmas at the Warbuck mansion, Annie manipulates the situation in her favour and she is chosen.
Luxury abounds at the Warbuck’s mansion, but Annie still longs to find the loving parents who hold the other side of her heart locket. So, the kind-hearted Daddy Warbucks promises Annie that her true parents will be found. As fate would have it, Miss Hannigan, her brother, Rooster, and his girlfriend Lily try to claim Annie as their own daughter but they are quickly exposed as fakes!
In the end all works out in Annie’s favour. Daddy Warbuck adopts Annie. Her wish for a loving family comes true, and Annie's "Tomorrow" turns out to be "today"!
