Anton Barbeau, supported by Charms Against The Evil Eye

Anton Barbeau is famously unknown. A cult hero, he's worked with members of XTC, The Soft Boys, The Bevis Frond, Talk Talk and Cake. He's one-degree of separation from both Paul McCartney and David Bowie. His biggest viral hit, at 17,000,000 views, was a song about oily hair. He's released over 30 acclaimed albums on a number of independent labels in Europe and North America. Barbeau has returned to his native California after living abroad (Oxford, Cambridge, Berlin) for many years. In July, he'll release two albums, Glitch Wizard and Dig The Light.

He'll be support by Charms Against The Evil Eye in his return to Oxford gig at Common Ground.
