Archbishop Tenison's School - Vision 312

Archbishop Tenison's CofE High School, Croydon was founded by Archbishop Thomas Tenison in 1714 and in 2026 we will be celebrating our 312th year.
Thomas Tenison had an amazing educational vision for his time. This school is the last he founded. It was the first mixed school, reflecting his commitment to girls' education, unusual at that time. It is also the only school he founded in Croydon and is his last remaining school. Vision 312 is part of our commitment to pass this school on in good shape to the next generation of pupils, teachers and parents.
At this very special event at Southwark Cathedral, we will share our vision for the future of Archbishop Tenison's. As well as a short service led by the Bishop of Croydon, The Right Reverend Dr Rosemarie Mallett and Reverend Les Isaac OBE, we will hear from current and former members of the school community. After the service you are invited to a reception, together with an exhibition of our plans for improving learning opportunities in every subject.
This event is the launch of Vision 312 - our campaign to raise 1 million for the facilities and learning resources we now need to match the significant increase in pupil numbers over the last five years.
We look forward to seeing you at the event.
