Ever wondered how paints were made before factories existed? Where did colours come from? Find out and have fun creating your own coloured paint from natural pigments. We will explore how paint was made in the past, before having a go at creating our own tempera paint and using these to paint with. Please note: We will be working with raw egg in this workshop and crushing pigments can be a little noisy! If you have an allergy to raw egg or find noise challenging, why not book for our Ghostly Galleon clay workshop next door at SeaCity? This session will last approximately an hour and a half. Adults are very welcome to join in – just book a workshop participant ticket. If you are planning to support your child or just keep them company, please book a free accompanying adult ticket.
