Axminster Drama Club Youth presents Hadestown a powerful musical inspired by Greek mythology. The story intertwines two legendary couples: the hopeful young lovers Orpheus and Eurydice, and the timeless duo Hades and Persephone.

Eurydice, struggling to survive, is drawn into the industrial underworld known as Hadestown. Determined to save her, Orpheus sets out on a daring journey to bring her home.

This modern retelling explores themes of poverty, hope, and doubt, all set to a rich, genre-blending soundtrack of blues, jazz, and folk music.
