Susi Briggs is an author, storyteller, playwright, poet, musician and former Scots Scriever from Dumfries and Galloway. Passionate about Scots language literacy, Susi writes songs, poetry and picture books. Her books Nip Nebs, Nip Nebs and the Last Berry, Wheesht and Yum have all been shortlisted for Scots Bairns Book o the Year. Alan McClure is a writer and musician based in Galloway, south-west Scotland. His creative output is eclectic and prolific, encompassing oral storytelling, poetry, songs, novels, short stories and audio sketches. Alan McClures debut novel Calum and the Mountain was shortlisted for the Kelpies prize. He has gone on to publish Calum and the Other and Jacks Well. He is also the current Scots Scriever for the Scots Language Society. Alan and Susi are long time collaborators with song, storytelling, plays and poetry. They co created globally loved and shortlisted storytelling show Oor Wee Podcast together as well as the play Drookit for Braw Clan theatre.
