Bedford Sinfonia -'New Blood, New Beginnings'

The Bedford Sinfonia kick our 60th Anniversary season off with a spectacular opening concert, in a series where the Bedfordshire Orchestral Society will perform all nine of Beethoven's symphonies!
In the same approximate year that the great Josef Haydn's last symphony was being composed and performed - 1795 - so too did the first sketches of Beethoven's first symphony arise.
Beethoven's style owed much to Haydn (who was, for a time, his tutor), and so the classical torch was passed from one generation to the next.
Join the Bedford Sinfonia at the Bedford Corn Exchange on Saturday 17th October at 7:30pm, to hear the following marvellous compositions:
Haydn's Symphony No. 104
Beethoven's Symphony No. 1
Beethoven's Symphony No. 2
We hope to see you there!
