Benedictine lectures 2026: Missionary monks

Norwich Cathedral was founded in 1096 as a cathedral and Benedictine monastery combined. The monastic life came to an end in 1538, leaving an indelible stamp on the life and ministry of this Cathedral. In celebration of a tradition that speaks powerfully to the needs of our world today, this summer Norwich Cathedral hosts a series of eleven lectures on the Benedictine tradition in many facets of historic and contemporary life.
