Bill Frisell is a pioneering American guitarist known for a 'genre-blurring' sound that seamlessly weaves jazz, folk, Americana and avant-garde rock. Emerging in the 1980s as a flagship artist for ECM Records, he gained acclaim for his lyrical improvisation and innovative use of electronic effects. He is joined by long-time collaborator Eyvind Kang, a virtuoso violist and composer known for his mastery of microtonality and diverse global sounds.
