Drama, dance and singing groups for young people with learning disabilities run by professionals at Blue Apple Theatre and Mayflower.
Blue Apple Youth Theatre group is for young people aged 15-21 years old with learning disabilities, for example, Down’s Syndrome, Williams Syndrome and Autism. There is a helpful explanation of what is meant by learning disability here.
Through fun and supportive sessions, participants will develop their creativity, social skills, and confidence. They will also have the opportunity to perform in front of an audience, showcasing what they have learned in a positive and encouraging environment.
Led by experienced professionals, these sessions combine acting, singing, and dancing, helping young people to build friendships while exploring the joy of performance.
