Body and Earth is an immersive exhibition by award-winning artist and photographer Antonia Peña, exploring the intrinsic connection between humans and the Earth. Through photography, video, and performance, Peña highlights our symbiosis with nature and addresses contemporary issues such as climate change and our responsibility towards the environment. Peña’s work delves into human vulnerabilities and resilience, focusing on women’s experiences. She views the human body as an expression of freedom, symbolising the beauty of the spirit and our natural need to be free. Known for her bold self-portraiture, Peña’s career began with her project Leave Me Alone (2004), and her first Playboy cover at the age of 26.
