His upcoming performance in London follows a milestone moment this year, where Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi MP presented Bohemia with the prestigious Icon of Punjabi Rap Award at the UK Parliament, recognizing his groundbreaking contributions to South Asian music and culture.
Born Roger David on 15 October 1979 in Karachi, Bohemia is a Pakistani-American rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer who revolutionized the Punjabi music scene with his distinct fusion of hip-hop and Punjabi poetry. Widely regarded as the pioneer of Punjabi rap, Bohemia's influence has transcended generations and borders.
From his debut album Vich Pardesan De to collaborations with legends like Snoop Dogg, and from headlining global tours to launching his own label, Bohemia has remained a defining voice of Desi youth across the world. His latest albums I Am I.C.O.N (2022) and Rap Star Reloaded
(2024) showcase his continued evolution and passion for nurturing fresh talent in the industry.
