Our new ‘Slow Session’! With our traditional music sessions becoming such a hit we decided to grow our community further by making the first session of the month (the 2nd Thursday) a slow session.

Come for the first hour to learn a tune from one of our session leaders, and then stay to play the tunes we have all learnt as well as some slower traditional tunes. If you are newer to sessions and are exploring new repertoire and how to put your own set together, this one is for you. We’ll be looking at jigs, reels, marches, hornpipes and maybe even a song or two!

We aim to uphold the traditions of this community by welcoming all to come and enjoy the spirit of these tunes. If you fancy, bring a fiddle!

Timings will be as follows:

7-8pm Come learn a tune

8-10:30pm Slow Session (our normal session but at a slower pace)

If you are just coming to listen and for a few drinks please arrive from 8pm!
