Botanical identification and 'Lifting The Blues' Cyanotype Workshop
Thursday 12th June 2025
10.00am -12.30pm
Reveley Lodge and Gardens
This workshop will introduce you to the basics of the cyanotype printmaking-process discovered in 1842 using watercolour paper, cyanotype paint and light to create your own unique images. Join our local wellbeing photographer Mary Musgrove, as she guides you through this creative process whilst learning about its history and chemistry.
This course is limited to 10 participants for a personal and hands-on experience. All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own favourite materials such as pressed flowers, feathers, leaves or 3D opaque objects. This class is suitable for beginners and anyone aged 16+
The workshop starts in the Billiard room at Reveley Lodge and we will spend a lot of time in the gardens if the weather is bright. Please dress warmly if the weather is cool and wear suitable flat shoes for the house and garden with sun protection if needed. Refreshments are available throughout the day from the Garden Cafe, located in the Stables Art Gallery, open from 10.00 16.00.
