To book your seats all you need to do is select a carriage and then click on an available table.  Choose your first seat and all the remaining seats on that table will be highlighted, so you'll only have your own family group sat with you.  Then, simply choose the different tickets you need for each of your party and for any spare seats simply choose the option 'Empty Seat'.
