Bridging the Gap: Rest in Cheese We bring you a musical comedy about a High School Food Tech class. The Anti-Cheese League have been dissing the rest of the worlds cuisines and war is threatening. Mr Leistergrommit, anxious to get his students away from the war zone, takes them to a safe place - a Cheese factory in France. However, this is not just any group of people, this is a Food Tech class and contains both Dairynots and Cheesans. Conflict arises over what should be cooked, and who can be trusted Amidst the madness, the show also covers many important themes including how information spreads through social media, peer pressure and changing to be popular, how teenagers interpret love. Most importantly, there will be many, many cheesy puns! Bridging the Gap Bridging the Gap aims to give young adults (16+) the opportunity to perform major roles and/or take responsibility for other elements of a production directing, set design, lighting design, stage management etc. giving them the training, experience and confidence to enjoy a lifetimes involvement with live performance.
