At its heart, this is a poignant romantic drama that explores the forbidden love affair between a married woman and a doctor, who meet on a station platform. It captures the complexities of human emotions and the constraints of societal expectations. This version draws on the wit and musicality of Kneehigh Theatre, to produce a richly theatrical, imaginative and vibrant piece of theatre which was a sell-out sensation on the West End. Using immersive multimedia techniques, and weaving classic Noel Coward tunes throughout, we will bring this moving, funny, romantic and playful adaptation to the Courtyard stage.
