Brighton Fringe 2026! Good Vibes By George Bartlett

Brighton Fringe 2026! Good Vibes By George Bartlett
A sharp and heartfelt stand-up show about sexual identity, therapy, dating disasters, and the messy search for happiness, told through the eyes of a gay man just trying to survive with, Good Vibes - a dark comedy stand-up show about the things we avoid talking about, until they spill out anyway.

In this brutally honest, emotionally open hour, George Bartlett blends sharp comedy with moments of quiet reflection to explore sexuality, relationships, anxiety, loneliness and loss. Its a show about growing up, feeling left behind, and realising that adulthood doesnt arrive with the answers you were promised. Instead, youre left with self-doubt, bad decisions and a desperate urge to seem like youre doing fine.

Rather than chasing punchlines at all costs, Good Vibes allows space for vulnerability, awkwardness and discomfort, trusting that the biggest laughs often come from the truth we recognise but rarely admit. George's storytelling moves between humour and sincerity, offering comedy that feels confessional without being self-indulgent, and dark without being detached.
This is stand-up for people in their twenties and thirties who are tired of pretending theyre okay, who laugh at their own anxiety, and who find comfort in knowing someone else feels just as lost. Its honest, intimate and occasionally heavy, but always human.

Good Vibes isnt about fixing anything. Its about sitting with the mess, laughing where you can, and finding connection in shared uncertainty.
