In Claires class youll learn by doing - from tracing letter shapes to creating and decorating your own seasonal words in beautiful calligraphy.

Youll create your own little calligraphy project to take home with all the help you need from Claire.

Your calligraphy pen and nib are yours to take home after the course, with the option to buy extra supplies for practising at home!

Everything youll need is provided in the class. Dont forget your reading glasses, and be prepared to get inky fingers!

Please wear clothes suitable for crafting, as the black ink we use can stain (especially sleeves)

Claire taught her first modern calligraphy workshop at Kirstie Allsopps Handmade Fair back in 2014 and hasnt looked back since! An experienced calligrapher specialising in flourished modern lettering, Claires teaching style is friendly, fun and relaxed. Claire is based in South Cumbria where she spends her days writing family trees, wedding stationery, quotes, and calligraphy poems.
