Award winning environmental filmmaker Ted Simpson talks about his filmmaking journey exploring the wild edges of Britain, and shares his latest short film The Pine Hunters. From the debate around deer management and rewilding, to the epic story of the return of the white-tailed eagle to Britain, Teds work explores our relationship with nature in the British isles. In this event, he will talk about what has drawn him to these topics, and the lessons he has learnt through making these films: about ourselves, nature, and the future of our wild places. The event will feature a screening of Teds latest short film, The Pine Hunters, a documentary following two ecologists in search of the last of our ancient wild pine forests.
