Christmas 1955. A Welsh community discover they are to be evicted, their homes destroyed and their village flooded.

Inspired by the community of Capel Celyn and based on the Tryweryn flooding, Capel Celynfollows the events leading up to Liverpool's destruction of a village in Wales and the strength of the villagers who resisted. Set entirely in a living room, the story follows husband and wife, Osian and Arianwen, as they face overwhelming odds to save their home, determined to both preserve their heritage and protect their future.
