Come and hear the mighty Saint-Saens Symphony No 3 (The "Organ Symphony"), performed on the magnificent Llandaff Cathedral organ.
Ravel's 150th birthday is celebrated with performances of his pieces Pavane pour une infante dfunte and Alborada del Gracioso.
The programme is completed with a performance of the suite from the ballet Checkmate, composed by Sir Arthur Bliss. 2025 is the 50th anniversary of Blisss death. CPO performed the first concert performance of the ballet in 1985.
In the ethereal acoustics of Llandaff Cathedral, this is a concert not to be missed!
