Our Chief Conductor closes our season with a spectacular wall of sound, as the Orchestra, Choir, our Youth Training Choir and star vocalists deliver the magnificent Carmina Burana. After a roofraising opening that’s guaranteed to give you chills, we then encounter nature, love and fate on an epic musical journey – and there’s nothing like hearing it live. Bartók’s celebratory Dance Suite is a showcase for every section of the Orchestra, weaving identities and influences together through fiery folk flavours and boundless energy.
