Songs of glory and death from long ago: elegies containing themes from the pre-christian era. Celtic gods: The welsh poet Aneirin sang the Gododdin about 1400 years ago following the rout at Catraeth. This is a rendition of the old odes in English: bloody, poignant. Contains graphic descriptions of battle violence. Ages 14+ Venue: Workshop Room NB Reached via one flight of stairs. Unfortunately there is no lift. Tickets: £8 / Under-18s and those on Universal or Pension Credit: Free Free tickets must be booked drectly at the gallery, in person or by phone on 01298 937375 Sunday 16th July - 12pm to 1pm. (Doors open at 11:45am.) Also on Wednesday 13th July, Thursday 13th July, Friday 14th July and Saturday 15th July - 12pm to 1pm
