The Chelsea Arts Festival’s Comedy Gala fundraiser comes to Cadogan Hall. This promises to be a Saturday evening filled with laughter featuring a stellar lineup of stand up comedians, including Sindhu Vee (Sex Education, BBC Live at the Apollo, QI, Mock the Week), Michael Odewale (Live at the Apollo, Cunk on Earth, Live from the Moth Club), Daniel Foxx (Late Night Lycett, BBC Radio 4’s P.O.V., Welcome to Hell podcast) Lloyd Griffith (Return to Paradise, Ted Lasso, Live at the Apollo) and more performers to be announced over the next few weeks. Sindhu Vee is an award-winning comedian, writer, and actor. Since swapping a career in investment banking for comedy, Sindhu has landed roles in numerous high-profile television series and films while completing several successful comedy tours in the UK, India, and the US. As a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian, Sindhu has appeared twice on BBC Two’s Live at the Apollo, most recently as the host. She has also been a guest on top British panel shows, including Mock the Week, QI, Have I Got News for You, and Would I Lie to You? Sindhu is currently starring alongside Simone Ashley in Amazon Prime’s rom-com Picture This. Daniel Foxx is an award-winning comedian and writer known for his signature pearls and white-blonde hair. His debut hour Villain sold out at Edinburgh Fringe and toured internationally, including New York’s SoHo Playhouse. His viral sketch videos have garnered millions of views and over 900,000 social media followers, leading to his book, Bedtime Stories for Privileged Children (2024). He co-wrote the hit show Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch, earning a Writers’ Guild Award nomination. Daniel has appeared on BBC One, ITV, and Comedy Central, written for BAFTA-winning Late Night Lycett, and co-hosts the successful podcast Welcome to Hell, which completed a sold-out 2025 tour at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre. Emmy-nominated & BAFTA-winning writer/performer Michael Odewale has fast gained recognition for his distinctive comedic style. A fresh and unfiltered voice known for delivering sharp and beautifully executed content, his debut show #BlackBearsMatter won ‘Best Show’ at the 2019 Leicester Comedy Festival and achieved critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe 2019, earning him a nomination for ‘Best Newcomer’ in the Dave Edinburgh Comedy Awards. In 2022, he released his first stand-up special, Michael Odewale: Live at Soho Theatre for Amazon Prime and has since gone on to work on a host of shows, including Dreaming Whilst Black, Cunk on Earth, Death to 2022, and Ben Elton’s Friday Night Live. Lloyd Griffith is a comedian, actor, presenter and classically trained singer. You may have seen him most recently appear on Return to Paradise, Live at the Apollo, Ted Lasso, Nolly, Everyone Else Burns, The Outlaws, It’s a Sin, The People We Hate at the Wedding, House of Games, Not Going Out, and Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club. Lloyd also fronted a documentary on the BBC called Can You Beat the Bookies? which received rave reviews. The event will raise funds for Cadogan Hall’s charity partner Nucleo which brings young people together to create change for themselves and their communities through collective music-making. Line-ups, including headliners, are subject to change. In the unlikely event that an artist needs to cancel, Chelsea Arts Festival reserves the right to amend the line-up without notice, and no refunds will be due. This event takes place as part of the inaugural Chelsea Arts Festival.
