41-StP Play reading workshop of "Upstart Crow" written by Ben Elton - event is lead by Trisha Longworth. It is really a very simple and fun idea. If you like plays and meeting other similar people then we provide the scripts and you are allocated a part in a play to read out loud. Gathered in a circle you become the character, read your part as if part of a performance without the physical acting! Enjoy a well written script. Assume another identity. It's a fun way to become more acquainted with contemporary plays and playwrights. Trisha runs a successful monthly play reading group in our area. Our workshop scripts this time are from the well known "Upstart Crow, the scripts" written by Ben Elton and published by Bantam Press for whom we are very appreciative of the permission to use the book in this free playreading workshop.
