Christmas Comedy Club #2!

Christmas Comedy Club #2!
Due to popular demand, we have added a second comedy club date for this Christmas!

It's Christmas!! And what better way to kick start the festivities at Middlesbrough Town Hall.

Our MC for the evening is Rob Thomas, since Rob took to the stage in 2010 he has quickly developed to become one of the country’s most promising up and coming comics.

Rob is instantly likable as a result of his down to earth demeanor and engaging tales of his own misfortune.

He is one of those yarn spinning comics who will draw you in with his shaggy dog tales, then suddenly hit you with a raft of unexpected punchlines. His funny stories always end up reducing the whole crowd to hysterics. He is also a scouser. And lovably large and larger than life!

Jeff Innocent is a popular and experienced stand up comedian, actor, writer and cultural commentator. As a stand up comedian he has reached near legendary status among his peers and audience alike by staying at the top of his game for over 15 years. His unique appeal lies in the contrast between his East End ‘Geezer’ appearance and demeanor, and his educated, philosophical delivery and subject matter. Inspiring the guardian to describe him as a comedian with, ‘The body of a nightclub bouncer and the brains of a university boffin’.

Al Stevenson is the sharp-witted lad from Newcastle, with “bulletproof confidence” (Stand Newcastle), his charm allows him to tear through an audience with a cheeky grin. His “relentlessly hilarious” (Carl Hutchinson) performances of his “brilliant jokes” (Jack Whitehall) have seen him go all the way to the Beat The Frog World Series Finals, be tour support for Mark Nelson, USA Kevin James Thornton and many more, and sellout the prestigious Stand Comedy Club with his debut solo show!

Michael Akadiri is an multi award-winning stand up comedian and junior doctor who has been seen on the ITV2s Stand Up Sketch Show, BBCs New Comedy Award & has recently starred in the latest series of Comedy Central LIVE. His sold out debut Edinburgh Fringe 'consistently funny, occasionally dark' (Scotsman) show, No Scrubs was nominated for NextUp’s inaugural Biggest Award in Comedy.
