Love Rock Music Hate Oasis Okay, maybe we don't hate them exactly, but on Saturday 26 July, 2025, on the very same night of Oasis's big London Reunion Show at Wembley, Civil War are taking things back to the 90s by running a night of big, swaggering pyschedelic grunge & desert rock at the legendary Water Rats, near King's Cross, London, which as fate would have it, is where Oasis played one of their very first London shows waaaaay back on 27 January 1994. Our show will feature a killer bill of 4 talented, rising U.K. underground bands - Grungers, Okay You Win, Erronaut and Quinn's Lizard - rocking out purely for your listening pleasure, and all for just £8 (plus booking fee) in advance. For those of you who haven't come to one of our shows before, Civil War still run things in the proper old-school way, putting on real 'living' bands from across the U.K. underground, and supporting famous venues around London. No egos, no tribute acts, no overpriced ticket rip-offs, no commercial sponsors, and most importantly - NO COMPROMISES. Just real, proper, heavy rock music like back in the day in the 90s... maybe the Gallaghers should wake up and take a note out of our book... !
