This event has been archived!

Join pianist Daniel Liu and cellist Seth Collin, performers from Newcastle’s Pudding Chare Music Festival, for a kaleidoscopic musical journey. From Bach through Beethoven, Price, Debussy, and up to the present day, the concert will feature the premiere of Daniel Liu’s ‘Variations on a Theme of Schumann’. The concert will close with the rarely performed sonata by Edgar Bainton, a British composer who spent 30 years of his life based in Newcastle.
Classical Café is a series of Sunday afternoon performances at Middlesbrough Town Hall. Enjoy classical music in a more informal and relaxed atmosphere, enjoying coffee and cake while you listen!
