Cold Brewed Presents: Klose One, Liz-zie, Jimmy Rocket, Coralie And M75
Returning from a short hiatus, Cold Brewed are back for their next party at Rough Trade Nottingham, and yet again, they haven't held back. Klose One (Rinse FM / Heras / Sports Banger) London-based Ruairi Kennedy, aka Klose One (@kloseone), has been tagged as 'The DJ's favourite DJ'. With fans from across the musical spectrum, Klose One has remained sonically significant, spanning two decades of club culture and a Rinse FM residency that has lasted and transcended many scene shifts. His in-depth knowledge of music and acclaimed genre-bending DJ skills make him comfortable in any situation, from underground clubs to eclectic party sets, often spanning five to six hours. Klose One's accomplishments shine beyond being a DJ; he is a Label Manager at Heras Records, Music Director at Sports Banger, A&R Disorder, and WHP Records, and has a vast back catalogue of music, with some of it releasing on the likes on Swamp 81. Liz-zie (NRG Cru / Subtle / Balamii) Bolton-born and bred promoter and DJ Liz-zie (@cowielizzie) has cemented herself as a mainstay in both London and Manchester's booming music scenes. With UK garage being her bread and butter, her diverse selection across house, bass, footwork, and jungle and being a regular with Cicely's NRG Cru and on stations such as Subtle, Balamii and Crop Radio has made her a left her being nothing less than a crowd favourite. Jimmy Rocket (Loud Planet / Mimm) No stranger to Cold Brewed, DJ, party starter, rapper and MC Jimmy Rocket (@younastyson) is one of 0115's most versatile artists. Forever making waves with his Loud Planet Records affiliates, from tearing up raves and gigs alike across the city to throwing his own parties and even making movements during festival season at the WOH festival, hosting a Cold Brewed without him doesn't make sense. Coralie (Spitskool / MXC) Having released for the likes of Unknown to the Unknown, Voitax, and Flippen Disks, to name a few, Coralie's (@scooby\_coralie\_mxc) gritty and grimy take on unconventional bass and techno has left a lasting mark on the scene and is a testament to Nottingham's OG murky sound. In addition to this, Coralie runs a joint alias and shares a record label with Maroki titled MXC and Spitskool, respectively, showing his dedication to his craft and the scene and landing him regular DJ sets in mainland Europe and seeing some of the UK's most prominent DJs regularly play his tracks. M75 (Cold Brewed / Mimm / Voices) Originally from the gritty West Midlands, British Indian DJ and Cold Brewed head honcho M75 (@msevenfive) has set pace over the last eight years not only at parties in Nottingham but nationwide and now even abroad. His forward-thinking, constantly dynamic approach to DJing and love for anything with a bassline have seen him shut down raves on a regular. A mainstay in Nottingham's dance music scene, M75's devotion to music has seen him work his way up into the scene from a support DJ to actively supporting artists and building foundations within the community.
